Learn and Grow.. Knowledge, like food is Essential to Life. Good food grows good fruit....FEED YOUR MIND, FEED YOUR BODY AND FEED YOUR SOUL. Proverbs 4 Verse 7: WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPAL THING: AND WITH ALL THY GETTING, GET UNDERSTANDING Verse 8 EXALT HER AND SHE SHALL PROMOTE THEE: SHE SHALL BRING THEE TO HONOUR WHEN THOU DOST EMBRACE HER How beautiful are these words of instruction from the bible. Embrace them and they will serve us well.

The Blame Game

The blame game is actually a phenomenon that is not readily acknowledged by the majority of people in our society, unless of course it supports their agenda. We have a tendency to deny any and sometimes all culpability or accountability for our dire and unpleasant situation and will always resort to pointing the finger of blame at someone else for our problems…
Man I’ll tell you, I can’t recall how many times over the years I’d hear Black folks making statements like; the white man is holding me down or it’s a white man’s world and I’m just living in it or man I’m just surviving. I myself was even caught up in that same self-pity,  and woe is me mindset of victimization The so-called white man is preventing me from doing this or that. Man, he has his foot pressing down so hard on my neck I barely breathe. Now, he does present us with some obstacles to get over but for the most part the so-called white man is not holding us down people, we are holding ourselves and each other down with that defeatist rhetoric.

Every time someone makes that statement they reinforce in themselves the misconception that they are powerless and aren’t capable of improving their situation. In essence they are adopting a mindset and attitude that handcuffs and shackles them before they even get started. This will eventually be embraced as a truth which becomes a crutch (excuse) that will place them in a state of perpetual limbo.   An unconscious self-inflicted imprisonment in which they become complicit in their own inability to improve their situation.
It’s the same with education. I’m always hearing black folk say that school is a waste of time because it’s the so-called white man’s education. Hey I get it, all the lessons have been written and designed by the so call white majority and does not pertain to our culture. However if this is what is available and it is a spring-board to other opportunities then why not jump on it? It is incumbent upon us to take advantage of what is available and make the most of it as we self educate ourselves along the way. There is an abundance of information available to anyone who takes the time to search for it. The reason why most don’t is because it requires hard work, determination, discipline, and responsibility. We have far to many brothers and sisters who shy away from this pathway which leaves them content with making excuses and assigning blame on the so-called white man.
We have been wandering around with this misconceived notion that the white man owes us and is responsible for our unfortunate predicament. He is the culprit that has enslaved and oppressed our ancestors and oppresses us still to this day. Well, I’m gonna break some news to you people. The so-called white man doesn’t have to oppress us. The so-called white man just sits back and watches us self destruct as we have become the instruments of our own oppression and demise. We are the culprits who tear down each other and the environments in which we inhabit. We are the parents who allow our young people to drop out of schools and gravitate towards devious minded predatory gangs. We are the people who display and promote immoral lucid and indecent behavior in front of our babies.

We are the perpetrators of the negativity we experience that infests our culture such as shame, disrespect, rude behavior, selfishness, profanity, laziness, irresponsibility, self-doubt, self loathing, low self-esteem, incivility and etcetera. We are the culprits who denigrate the Black person who educates themselves and desires to articulate themselves in a coherent manner. We ostracize them, ridicule them, shun them and launch insults of being sellouts and acting like the so-called white man. We find fault with everyone else and expect our situation to improve by adhering to and embracing every thing that maligns our ability to make any progress. There are those of us who consider ourselves to be a true Black person because we talk and act Black. What the heck is that all about? I don’t recall any of our former great leaders acting and talking like a bunch of buffoons to be considered Black enough. I remember them to be very well-educated, respectable and well spoken people and since when did the prerequisite for being Black translate into being uneducated, ignorant and cannibalizing the English language?
Wake-up call people! You are the house Negro that is doing the so-called white man’s bidding. You have become so brainwashed that you have no cognitive idea whatsoever of the dark abyss of ignorance that you have plummeted into. You have become so  psychologically damaged that you attempt to shame others who desire to rise up from that dark place, because of your inability to do so. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves for all the disrespect and shame you cast on the Black culture due to your lack of Black pride and Dignity.

Part of the mechanics of oppressing people is to pervert them to the extent that they become the instrument of their own oppression.  From the book Brainwashed by Tom Burrell- excerpt by Kumasi / activist and former gang member…
It is impossible order generic cialis browse here to conclude whether statin therapy caused these sexual side effects, or if they are due to something else. How can anyone expect to challenge anyone or anything when they have given up before they even get started? Look, I’m not discounting the fact that there are systematic obstacles in place that are designed to impede our progress and I also recognize that we have been and still are oppressed to some degree but not as much as we oppress ourselves. Yes, indeed this is a so-called white dominated world but it can only remain so if we allow it to. We possess the power to change it and I definitely will not succumb to being dominated by it. As far as I’m concerned this was our world before they arrived and I intend to carve out my place and leave my footprint on it.
The moral responsibility or compunction to accept ones share of accountability never factors into the equation but it is time that it did. This revelation is much to hard to bear and more than likely is probably one of the main reasons why the society we live in today and the relationships between the classes and more importantly ethnic groups experience a significant separation gap. People feel that they are flawless on the surface and will attempt to project a deceptive persona that may sometimes be construed as an air of superiority but beneath this exterior lays an entirely different person.
We are continuously pointing the finger at others instead of taking a look at what we are doing or not doing that exacerbates the problem. If my house is dirty should I not be the one to blame for its current condition. Also, should I not take the time to clean up my mess before I attempt to bring attention to another person’s mess? We are all to willing to ignore our own garbage and attempt to deflect attention away from it as opposed to disposing of it in the proper manner. Yes, it requires a great deal of work and sacrifice ( however, nothing ventured equals nothing gained ). This is an issue that has plagued us for far too long and whose time has come to end. It is incumbent upon us to be the change that we want and the change that we demand. If we are negligent in our duty and are not compelled to act then we will continue on this course and the ship will never be righted. The so-called white man is not going to do it for us people, never had and never will. We are the ones responsible for our present and our future. Generation after generation of our people are maligned with a defeatist and self-destructive mindset that is passed on to them. So the time has come to stop pointing the finger of blame, to stop suckling on the nipple of so-called white people and grow up.

Take responsibility for what we do and for what we do not do. We make the choices and we are the ones who act or do not act.  Powerless or Powerful….

Indoctrination of White Supremacy

The success and dominance of the European (so-called whites) over the centuries has generally been attributed to the oppression of other races and precision systematic planning. The attempted eradication of the Native American coupled with the controlled institutionalized enslavement of the Africans has provided them with enormous wealth and has elevated them to various levels of power and dominance which as of today has yet to be challenged.
In this land of the Americas the European (so-called white) has constructed through carefully devised schemes of deviousness, deception, manipulation, and corruption, a completely thorough unchallenged realm of supremacy and dominance. The Native American through countless wars, dishonored and broken treaties has been relegated to reservations where they are now virtually irrelevant. The African-American like the Native American had also endured years of suffrage but from a different yet more extreme effective method. The African had been forcibly condemned to an existence of forced subjugation and subjected to the most heinous and cruel forms of punishment known to mankind. Africans had been forcibly confined to an existence of total deprivation which was void of any human rights or qualities.
The African’s status as a human being was completely stripped away and we were condemned to a standard that was lower than an animal to allow for the possession of us as property.  The thought of not reducing that status would conflict with the moral and religious beliefs set forth and embraced by the Christian colonials. So henceforth the decision was embraced and adopted to label Africans as sub-humans in an order to ease the quilt of conscious and moral judgment in the European (so-called whites). This opened the door for an unchallenged institution of slavery and provided the European (so-called whites) with an infinite source of non-resistant slave laborers.
We know all too well that the Europeans (so-called whites) had no problem compromising their morals, principles, and religious beliefs for the sake of enormous wealth and power. This can be no more evident than when England enslaved their very own country’s men and women and children to provide an uncompensated labor force for the cash crop industry they were investing in and building in early Americas colonization.

So henceforth with the indoctrination and acceptance of slavery and the opportunity for enormous wealth at their feet they constructed the foundation  for complete dominance, power and wealth…There would not be much of a resistance or immediate challenge to this system of enslavement because of the enormous demand of the industrial revolution in America and for the nations whom profited from it….In addition the Europeans ( so-called whites ) were notorious for stealing ideas and the inventions of slaves in order to market them as their own and reap all the profits.
So I guess we can to some degree understand why the Black man today has difficulty competing in this European( so-called white ) dominated world. We can attribute some of this malignancy to the insidious effects of a system that was designed to oppress rather than assist. We should also be somewhat accepting of the fact that quite possibly there may be some residual damage passed on through generations of post-slavery suffrage.
If we were to just take a moment to try to envision what the landscape of America must have looked like with the sudden and unprepared liberation of 3 million ( 3,000,000 ) plus slaves. Keep in mind that this is the period of post civil war where the attitudes of many were not very ingratiating of our dark-skinned ancestors. What was America to do with them and what were they to do with themselves now that the day they have  yearned for had finally come. Yes this day they would no longer be a people held in bondage and forced to perform over bearing and grueling work for another people. As of this day they would no longer have the threat of an overseers whip lashing across their backs and cutting away through layer after layer of human flesh. Nor would they for the moment have to fear the hangman’s noose around their necks for insubordination or for fleeing for their freedom.
They also lead for the relaxing of the arterial blood vessels in the brain.Blurry vision is noticed among some individuals throughout the initial dosage associated with acquisition de viagra female. You may get help from some motivational novels and djpaulkom.tv cheapest price for levitra quotes telling answer life-related hurdles. This in turn makes the hair shrink cialis sales uk and get thin and weak. Untimely or premature ejaculation is often considered a serious problem that is found mostly amongst old aged men having trouble in bed the first things they will have in mind is viagra on line and other sex pills. But nevertheless, what would they do now that they no longer have someone dictating to them where they could go, what they could eat, when they could sleep, and what they could or could not do. Ahh, this newly granted freedom with all of its good intentions still carried with it much of the old hostilities, prejudicial sentiments and restraints that slavery had imposed. There wasn’t any preparation for the sudden enormity of humanity that needed to be housed, fed, employed, educated, and governed. The newly freedman was also caught off guard and ill prepared because now he didn’t have his en-slaver around to tell him what to do. He did not possess an education, lacked the basic skills of reading and writing, and didn’t have much in the way of trade’s skills to qualify for work.
Granted not all newly freedmen fell into this category however, for the majority of them this was indeed their situation. They would be a lost and disoriented people void of any real direction. Consequently this left many of them in serious precarious situations. They were unemployed, homeless, and hungry and naturally would resort to whatever means necessary to feed, cloth and shelter themselves. Here is where a large population of people becomes destitute and completely dependent on a system to take care of them. This freedom was not in essence an absolute freedom because this freedman would still have to rely on the very same people who had initially enslaved them. Many would to depend on their former en-slavers while others ( and not very many) were fortunate enough to acquire land through the Freedman’s Act and eventually were able to own it outright. But for the majority of the former slaves the outcome was much grimmer. These African farmers worked their land but still were at the mercy of the merchants and bankers. Most would end up losing their land due to the inflated costs for goods that they were charged for or otherwise just cheated out of. The African-American not being an educated man had no other alternative but to agree to whatever terms were offered to him. This usually meant that he would always be at a disadvantage and could never see his way clear to pay off his debtors and make a profit. No matter how hard he toiled over his land to bring his crop to market, the so-called whites would always devise a scheme to defraud him. Often times he would be under paid for his crop and he dared not question the merchant for fear of his life. Most of these former slaves found themselves in a perpetuity of insurmountable debt and would eventually lose the land.
The new land owners would then offer the former slaves the opportunity to rent the land (known as tenancy) work it and harvest the crop while living on the land.
To be continued…

This Black Man,This Black Problem continued….

I once watched a program called Black In America which had aired on CNN. It highlighted the lives and exploits of Black people in America and explored the difficulty some confronted trying to make it……

I can’t help but remember this one brother who had been incarcerated and released. His life had been one of constant disappointment and instability. He had come home to a pregnant girlfriend who had waited for him with great anticipation and hoping for the best. . She was holding down a job and looking forward to starting a family and possibly getting married. They had sat down and discussed what type of life they wanted to pursue together and exactly what it would require to achieve this. They both would work diligently towards making this dream a reality.

This young  Black man had found employment driving a tractor-trailer hauling large loads which made her hopeful but nevertheless apprehensive. He had on numerous occasions mentioned how sincere he was in wanting to do the right thing and become a responsible person and be there for his girlfriend and child. I found myself hoping for the best outcome for the both of them. Too often times people will make the wrong decisions when life demands a constructive change. This is especially true when they are not accustomed to making the right choices and have developed a pattern of irresponsible decision-making for whatever reason.

So, this young Black man  had appeared to be doing extremely well with his new-found freedom and job. I have to admit that I was very impressed with his seemingly steadfast determination to stay on the right path. However, this was to be short-lived because a short time afterwards this young brother had begun to complain about how difficult it was having to drive the load and then be solely responsible with the task of unloading it himself.  He had come to the point where he was completely exhausted after working all day and would begin to question if it was all worth it. Now we are talking about a young man who is in his twenties and for all practical purposes whose body and mind would grow stronger as time went by.

These are those moments in life that we all come face to face with at some time or another. These are the times that unbeknownst to us could have life altering consequences based on the decision we make. Those periods in life where we will experience some adversity and have to reach deep inside of ourselves to display some degree of courage and determination. This is where we usually have the opportunity of transitioning from one phase in life, to another. That undeniable moment when we are on the precipice of maturation to adulthood. It is at this moment that we need to step back and evaluate the pros and cons of our situation and give considerable thought to what, how and who our decision will affect. If we do this in an honest and thoughtful manner most times we will make the right choice. But most often than not our young people will give up  and throw caution to the wind.

Eventually this young Black man decided to quit his job and commit an armed robbery of a local marijuana supplier. Needless to say that he was apprehended, arrested and sent back to prison which again left the pregnant  girlfriend on her own,  disappointed and heart-broken. My heart was also saddened by the choice that this young brother had made. I was saddened for him , the girlfriend but more so for the child who would be born into this world more or less fatherless. This pattern will undoubtedly follow him for the rest of his life. It has been set and the opportunity for change that was there once will probably not present itself again for some time. This is an unfortunate true aspect of reality that very few young people realize.  Most feel as though they have an infinite amount of time to get on the right track and some just don’t care. Life does not guarantee us anything nor does it extend to us entitlements. It presents us with opportunities and irregardless of how small we must be able to recognize and be prepared to seize  the moment to take advantage of them when they arise. They are sometimes to few and far in between.

I couldn’t help but ask myself, what in the world was this young Black man thinking about or was he even thinking at all. He must have given some thought to what the possible consequences of his irresponsible decision and actions would lead to. But then again, maybe not. It could be possible that once he was on the path to rehabilitation  it affected the time that he would have to hang out with his homies.  When one is attempting to turn their lives around and do the right thing, there is no room for the old habits and acquaintances. We have to let go of them or they will attempt to negatively influence us by getting inside our head. Usually this is accomplished by feeding us that old garbage about squaring up and becoming whipped by our women. So to illustrate that we are still down with them we sabotage what we have in order to save face and appease them. Basically we just end up screwing ourselves and our family just to show some false bravado. It is my experience that once an individual begins to re-navigate the direction in which their lives are heading certain people will become envious. They are witnessing you do the one thing that they yearn to do themselves but don’t have the courage to do.

I know this very well because I have traveled this road several times before in my youth and early adulthood. I found myself making decisions that were very harmful to myself and never gave much consideration to how it was effecting my life.  I was continuously sabotaging my life until I one day I found myself contemplating death. I had then made a decision to finally drum enough courage to reach out and ask for help. The road to redemption and success has not been an easy one because it required a great deal of sacrifice and hard work. However, I knew where I had once been and where it had led me and I didn’t want to revisit that again. So I was determined to do the necessary things that were demanded of me if I were to effectuate and maintain a positive change in my life.  So if that meant letting go of old habits and friends that weren’t in my best interest, then so be it.
By using internet facility, you can easily purchase viagra order for medications from anywhere whether you are in your office or at your home. Apparently, this young Black man  had thrown all caution to the wind and didn’t give any consideration to the girlfriend, the baby or his life!!  I can only imagine how disappointed, hurt and abandoned his girlfriend must have felt.  Here she would be once again on her own and pregnant with her man in jail having to make it alone. This young Black man would not stay out prison long enough to see his child born. Unfortunately it is a very sad and disappointing story that is repeated time and time again within our society by our young Black men. It is a destructive pattern that has found a common place within our communities and it needs to be addressed. Much too often we witness the breakdown that occurs between them assuming a role of responsibility and acts of capitulation.

Why is it that so many of our youths fail to rise up to the challenge of being men. Could it be that the expectations and responsibilities are too great of a challenge and they feel somewhat threatened or inadequate. What are the missing components and why is the avenue of least resistance the one most often chosen instead of the avenue that  challenges them and will mold them into becoming men? Some where  there is a huge disconnect between reality of their reality….

We have got to understand that in order to make it in this world we must have a strong resolve . I always refer to the four D’s, Determination, Dedication, Discipline and Diligence and we can always add Discretion..  It’s all about hard work man and not allowing any obstacle to deter us from our goal… Nothing ventured, Nothing gained. There is no pie in the sky and nothing is going to fall into our laps. We must work extremely hard if we want a piece of the pie. So, until our reality changes or we change it, that’s just the way it is!!!

We need to have more positive role models and support systems in place that can help these young Black men navigate their way through life in a constructive and responsible manner. We need to get back to the basics and provide structure and direction within the household. We need to change the way in which we think, speak and conduct ourselves in front of our children. If we can not provide this guidance for them, there will always be someone or something else more sinister that will and we will continue to see a slow but consistent deterioration of our culture and communities.

What are you going to do to make this change happen…..

Bill Cosby; Witch Hunt or A Modern Day Lynching

Lately I have been hearing and reading the barrage of negative comments, rumors and accusations launched across social and mainstream media regarding rape allegations against Bill Cosby. I look at the set of circumstances with circumspect and I contemplate what could have possibly preceded this unfortunate situation and can’t help but wonder why now and why him? It’s not that I don’t believe in his guilt or the validity of the allegations. However, what I am a firm believer in is the right to due process. I have always believed that any person that has been accused of a crime  (guilty or not) should always be considered innocent until proven guilty.  Once we have deviated away from this process we no longer are the civil and democratic society that we profess ourselves to be. When I witness the type of prejudicial and unmitigated personal attack on another human being without substantiated cause it becomes very reminiscent of the witch hunts of Salem in 1692 and other modern-day witch hunts.ie: Day Care  abuse Trials and The Communist Witch Hunts of McCarthyism.

It appears as though it has become a standard practice for the media as well as the general public to assume the role of judge and jury? Oh yes, and let us not forget about  this same poisonous campaign was that incessantly launched against the King of Pop ( Michael Jackson ). He was also convicted  by the media and public as well and found to be innocent of any and all wrong doing in a court of law. However, the  damage had already been done and the minds of people would always have that image of child molester burned into their conscious forever. I know, I get it, if the accusations are there obviously there must be some truth to them.  I mean, why would someone accuse another human being of committing an offense if it weren’t true?  Where there is smoke there most certainly must be fire.  Not necessarily true. Often times  there is something smoldering that causes  produces the smoke and in this particular situation it is the accusations…

I’m left to think about the people of Salem who were all hanged and even stoned because of the mass hysteria that was generated and engulfed the minds of a few paranoid folks. granted we are not burning Mr. Cosby at the stake literally but nonetheless he is being served up..

People have a tendency to circulate unfounded stories when their minds perceive something to be that is not necessarily so and also when they are seeking revenge. or maybe some attention. Some people will also view it as an opportunity to cash in on someones stardom.  Yes the world is rampant with unscrupulous, despicable and conniving leaches who will do anything for a quick payday.  When do we start to question the legitimacy of these accusations as well as the integrity of the accuser. We don’t seem to have a problem assigning guilt to the accused.

Why should we ever question the integrity or intentions of an accuser? Obviously we are not known for sentencing innocent people to prison or to death row for that matter.  Oh that’s right, we have erred on a few occasions so our system may be just a little bit flawed but surely the media and public opinion are absent of any culpability as it pertains to these matters.

When the media takes on an active campaign to consistently smear and feed the public with unsubstantiated information, it doesn’t matter what the level of innocence may or may not be.  The assigning of guilt must be swift and precise. This irresponsible mechanization of information is not concerned with the innocence of someone, especially Black people. So there is no justification for them to assume an unbiased position. Especially when the sole purpose is to slander and destroy an individual’s reputation and credibility.  If this individual is not in locked step with them and their ideologies and is a representation of independent Black power then they are the enemy. They can not afford to have any icon of Black power that has high visibility and influence to be venerated by Black people and definitely not by any white folks. This will give Black people the stupid notion that they can separate themselves from the white man and achieve social and economic success without him. In addition, if  Bill Cosby is allowed once again to have his own television show, Black people and others just might begin to perceive themselves in a positive light instead of the negative image that white folks worked so vigorously to sub plant in the minds of people. No more Cosby shows depicting Black people as responsible and civil. We prefer the Blackish, The Hip Hop in Atlanta, The Black Divas and you know those shows that are really  more demonstrative of  the Black culture.

So, I am left with the question: Why the witch hunt or character assassination and why now? There was ample time to bring up these charges in a court of law but they never were.  Why forty years later when this man is 78 years old? Oh what the heck, they might as well dig up former President Bill Clinton’s past history of alleged rapes and sexual harassment and for that matter anyone else they might want to destroy. The past should stay in the past unless of course it has some constructive relevance to the present. I don’t see where this would be remotely applicable regarding this situation. Bill Cosby has been in the public spotlight and performing in venues for over 40 yrs. He has been involved in the Civil Rights Movement, has an exemplary record for philanthropy in which he has donated millions of dollars to colleges, foundations and charities. I mean we are talking about Mr. Jello, Fat Albert, Kids Say The Darndest Things.,I Spy, Let’s Do It Again and the list goes on!!!!

Here is part of the legacy that this Black man ( Mr. Bill Cosby ) has created……

Career: Comedian, 1963–; actor, 1965–; author, 1973–.

Memberships: United Negro College Fund; NAACP; Operation PUSH; Sickle Cell Foundation; Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation.

It is not my contention to assign guilt or innocence to Mr. Cosby however I will assign guilt to the media for their absolute and unabashed dereliction in their responsibility to remain objective in their reporting of the news. It is not their duty to form panels of discussion which offers up varying opinions pertaining to the quilt or innocence of any person. When this border line has been crossed it lends to  influence the minds and judgement of the viewers. The threshold of intolerance continues to be shifted and we lose sight of what is right and what is wrong.

Black people and folks in general need to be extremely mindful of the information that we digest. We accept or are easily persuaded to disassociate ourselves from our own people based on accusations. It wasn’t to long ago when the then Senator Obama was vying for the office of POTUS and the media began a full-blown out campaign to assassinate the character of the Reverend Wright and his radical views. The then Senator Obama under much pressure threw the reverend under the bus ( so to speak ) denouncing the support of him, his radical views and statements. There was also an effort by the media and other conservative groups attacking The First Lady and depicting her as this angry militant Black women and more  recently declaring her to be a transsexual and our President homosexual. This type of irresponsible and reckless behavior sole intent is to plant a seed and create an atmosphere of gossip and suspicion.

During this same period there were accusations of rape launched against Mr. Herman Cain ( a Black man ) who was vying for the office of POTUS for the conservative party. Mr. Cain had begun to gain considerable popularity in the polls however amid allegations of sexual assault and rape had decided to end his campaign for POTUS. Of course these charges were never proven and eventually that dark cloud which hovered above his head disappeared. Mr. Cain went on to launch a somewhat successful radio talk show and also made a number of appearances on Fox News and other conservative talk shows. However the smear campaign that was launched against him had achieved its intended purpose which was to remove him from the Presidential race. These people are a vile and contemptuous group who will go to any lengths to achieve their objective which is to attract an audience and smear the reputation of mostly notable people.

Once we begin to allow the media and others to influence our thoughts and judgement we no longer have control of our mind. Once we begin to succumb to the pressure imposed by others we are not free and we are not strong. We must resist the efforts by others to dictate  to us what we should believe or who you should support.  We should be more than capable of making that decision on your own. If however your choice should turn out to be incorrect then so be it. At least you will have made the error based on your own judgement not by the irresponsible rhetoric being spewed by  someone else. We need to be courageous and not easily intimidated. For once we need to support our own!!!

Observe and listen CAUTIOUSLY!!!

The White Washing of the Black Mind

I have come to the realization that most of us Black people are in dire need of a readjustment, reconfiguration, and reconditioning of our minds and how we perceive ourselves and each other. Our lives and our method of thought are not what we  perceive them to be but what we have been taught or programmed for them to be. You see, from the moment our mind had the ability to learn, there has been a constant stream of misinformation and lies fed to it.  We have been consuming  and digesting this garbage for as long as we have been alive and the dose  has been constant and provided to us in abundance by white America and the media. Everything that we know and have come to understand about who we are and  (what we are not) has been fed to us by white America.

brainwashing

From ancient history to present day the information has always been designed to keep us subservient, docile, passive, humble, fearful, weak and ignorant. We have been very reluctant to challenge this perpetual  pervasive method of negative reinforcement, oppression, suppression, violence and cruel acts of physical torture which have resulted in mental anguish and wash out. Everything that we have learned and come to know as superiority has had a white face painted on it or influenced by white  America.  This is an established institution of dominance through physical and psychological warfare that has been systematically and with great fervor  launched against our people without interdiction.

We have been transformed over the  millenniums into  insentient humans who are void of culture and without any sense of identity. An extremely large segment us  lack the ability to discern for ourselves because we haven’t been taught how to utilize some basic tools needed to navigate our way through this life. Self esteem, self-awareness, self-confidence, self-identity, self-respect and coping skills are the essential tools required for the positive development of the human psychic. It is not a mere coincidence that these tools are absent within most of our Black brothers and sisters. Through the process of oppression and exclusion we have not learned the necessity of positive reinforcement for the sake of white dominance . However, we have  emphatically convinced ourselves that we are in control when in actuality, we are not.  Everything that we do and say and the manner in which we perceive ourselves and others, for the most part has been predicated on what we learn from white America and other influences within our environment .. I will provide a few of these examples for those of you who feel and think otherwise.

The institution of religion (Christianity) has been taught to us by the Europeans and with these teaching we have been provided with images the Virgin Mary, Jesus, The Disciples and God all of whom are depicted as white. We have been taught that the birth of Christ was an immaculate conception and that he is the son of God. Through this Holy man we will find our salvation for he will deliver us to the promised land. We have been introduced to the so-called holy bible  proclaimed to be the word of God ( which was written by him ) and that we should obey it religiously or risk burning in hell.. This book is however an extraordinary piece of literature which symbolizes what one may experience in life and offers us guidance. It teachings can serve us well if applied to ones life but not in the biblical sense.

God's word

We have been taught that Jews are the chosen people of God and that they will inherit his kingdom. I don’t know about you but I definitely don’t buy into that. However, here again we have an ethnic group declaring itself to be the chosen people of a an almighty god and we as Blacks (the true Hebrews) as being the descendents of Ham and cursed for all eternity for the color of our skin. We have been taught that ancient Egypt was ruled by whites and all of it’s magnificent structures and teachings were built and written by them and not the great Nubian ( Black people ) of Ethiopia.

Egyptianblack egyptians

We have been taught that all the great explorers and discoveries of the new world and other regions were by white people not the Ancient great Black people of Africa. The discovery of the Americas has been credited to Christopher Columbus even though Ancient Africans had already left their footprint here long before he was born. History depicts Columbus as a great explorer but neglects to reveal the barbaric nature of his exploitation and cruel and viscous treatment of the indigenous people of the Americas.  http://campuspages.cvcc.vccs.edu/polis/2003/nonfiction/whitney%20dewitt.amlit.htm

How is it that America celebrates a holiday in recognition of this murderous thief and extends to us a holiday sales opportunity to purchase goods that will fill their coffers? It seems only befitting for a country that has committed the same acts of violence and cruelty to exploit an entire race of Black people for personal gain would have a holiday honoring a man who has done likewise. All for the love or should I say greed of money!!!

However, researchers at Pfizer found that bulk viagra the medication also helped to induce erections during the initial trials. The goals of cialis no prescription uk chiropractic care include the restoration of function and prevention of injury in addition to back pain relief.
We have been taught about the landing of the pilgrims at Plymouth Rock and  the benevolence they extended to the indigenous people of that period. We have not been taught that the first people sent to populate the colonies in the early Americas were in  fact Englands own underclass of whites who were the first slaves in America. These were the men, women and children who were convicts, prostitutes, orphans, vagabonds, uneducated and whomever they considered rejects of the British crown. How about the disease they carried with them that plagued and wiped out a large percentage of the Native American population. Nor have we been taught about the violent confrontations that intensified negative stereotypes held by English settlers towards the Native Americans. Most Europeans characterized Indians as barbaric heathens and savages when in fact it they who were the barbaric savages who indulged in the cannibalism of their own due to starvation. We haven’t been taught of how they secretly distributed blankets contaminated with small pox to the Native American population to see how it would affect them. Nor about the countless promises and treaties broken, the murderous campaign and relocation of thousands because of their insatiable greed for gold and land. On the other hand we have been taught to celebrate Thanksgiving as a day of giving thanks to god for harvest and exchange of human kindness between the colonialists and the Native American. What hypocrites!!!

This Black Man, This Black Problem

This Black man speaks to a specific individual who is an overall  weak and frightened individual who is more concerned with his image than he is with matters of substance. He has adopted a propensity for pointing the finger of blame at the white man and others for his problems and is very reluctant to acknowledge his own obvious flaws in character as well as decision-making.

The institution of slavery has come and gone while the institution of imprisonment has emerged in its place.  No longer is this Black man or his people forced into a life of subjugation.  However, as of today there are approximately  over 2 million men in prisons in America to which the majority  (over half of them ) one million plus  (1, 000,000 + ) are Black men.  It’s quite obvious that a large segment of us have migrated away from the corridors of education and into the vestibules of incarceration. One would have to ask the question, what has so drastically  impacted the current landscape in America for this Black man? Perhaps Volunteered Subjugation?

This Black man of today has allowed himself to become misguided, weakened, afraid and complacent. This Black man has embraced a lifestyle of gangsterism, thugism, crime and treat our Black women with an unabashed blatant disrespect as though they were the scum of the earth and only useful for sexual exploitation. This Black man has become disillusioned and ignorant and chooses to pursue whimsical examples of success and power.  This Black man parades around with his pants halfway down exposing his buttocks for the world to see and hasn’t a shred of self-respect or dignity. This Black man has constructed an adversarial relationship with his brother Black man transforming their communities into battlefields, not the white man because he doesn’t live there.

This Black man has created an atmosphere of extreme violence and restriction that prevents little Black children from having normal playful lives for fear of catching a stray bullet. Not the white man because he doesn’t live there. This Black man is a reckless and ruthless murderer who is mowing down innocent brothers and sisters in a hail of bullets,. Not the white man because he doesn’t live there. This Black man preys on the  innocent and poor with an onslaught of armed robberies, burglaries and numerous petty crimes that have plagued and sapped the life out of the community. Not the white man because he doesn’t live there. This Black man is peddling drugs to our people who poisons their mind and wreaks havoc on their bodies and lives with addiction. Not the white man because he doesn’t live there.  This Black man has impregnated numerous young Black women who are left to bear and raise children on their own. Not the white man because he doesn’t live there. The streets and buildings in some of these Black communities throughout America are laid with waste, garbage, filth and dilapidated cockroach infested housing conditions that arise from neglect, irresponsibility and a lack of concern perpetuated by this Black man and others. Not the white man because he doesn’t live there.

What the white man does do, is police the streets of these communities because this Black man has become so lazy and ignorant that he produces an atmosphere of crime and mayhem.  The white man constructs prisons throughout America because he knows that this Black man will be taking up residence there. The white man writes laws that specifically target this Black man because he knows that these fools will violate them giving him cause to apprehend and arrest them. The white man  knows that this Black man will run off at the mouth and then whimper like a baby when he proceeds to handcuff him and commences to beating him with his billy club. The white man knows that this black man more often than not will be a convicted felon or become frightened and flee giving him cause to shoot him down in the streets. The white man  knows that this Black man isn’t educated and informed so they will take advantage of him with stop and frisk and if he resists, again beat him with his billy club because this Black man will not dare fight back. The white man knows that he can come into this Black man’s community and randomly stop him, disrespect him and violate his rights because this Black man’s bark is bigger than his bite.. The white man is bold and aggressive because he knows that even as the multitude of onlookers bare witness to their heinous and violent behavior that no one would dare interfere  with them with the exception of taking video because they are frightened and weak.

This is very reminiscent of the former institution of slavery where the overseer beats the SLAVE  into submission while this Black man has a vision of severe punishment looming over his head if he refuses to comply. The white man oppresses and shames  this Black man as they once did during slavery to illicit a weak and docile Black man, one that will address him as no sir and yes sir. The white man acts with irrefutable impunity towards this Black man for the white man fears no form of reprisal from this Black man or his comrades. What does it take for this Black man to stand up and challenge his aggressors? This Black man will not rise and fight because he is afraid of the ultimate action and or consequences that he will face from the white man. This Black man will however, rise up against another Black man but will not show resistance against the white man who is his true adversary. This Black man will misdirect his anger and frustrations towards his Black woman and sometimes his Black children who should be the ones most dear to him.. This Black man does not resemble the strong, educated and trail blazers of  Black men days past. This Black man is loud and boisterous and projects a tough exterior to mask his lack of strength, courage and confidence. This Black man derives his power from the gun but without it he is powerless.  The white man knows and understands this all too well about this Black man and will continue to maintain his dominance over him.

One is left with the undeniable impression that the white man knows this Black mans tendencies extremely well and capitalizes on his ignorance and weaknesses. So, why does this Black man not recognize the white man’s tendency just as well and take the appropriate corrective action?  Is it possible that this Black man does in fact recognize the white mans tendencies but accepts his subservient role and meager place in society?  In addition could it be that this Black man is just lazy and chooses not to take on the challenge and offer up a legitimate fight because it warrants an effort to pursue an education and  employment?  What are the underlying reasons that have compelled or caused this Black man to evolve into the wandering soul that he is today.

One reason this black man of today has lost his way is because he does not have the father figure in the family environment who is the representation of courage and will. This Black man’s father  would be the foundation of strength and cohesiveness that binds the family structure.  This Black man’s life has become void of direction because the father is absent to give him guidance and instill in him the qualities that are necessary for him to forge through life. This Black man has become weak and soft because the father is not there to act as the role model and mold him as the patriarch of the family. This Black man is not educated because the father is not there to ensure that he stays in school to pursue a much-needed education. This Black man has no one to instruct or teach him how to or what it means to be responsible and respectful. This Black man hasn’t a father figure to set the example of what it means to acquire gainful employment and put in a hard days work so that he can provide for his family. This Black man has no father to explain to him what it means to be a man of knowledge, morals and integrity and most of all the importance of fatherhood. This Black man lacks an education, coping skills, self-respect, self-identity, self-esteem, self-confidence, direction, self-determination and motivation as it pertains to becoming a relevant, respected and venerated human being.

Alcohol, fatty meal and energy drinks should be avoided along with the Silagra 100mg For Men Erectile Dysfunction. women viagra This then augments those zone along these lines to purchase cheap cialis let adequate measure of blood supply to the penile district of men which is really a gainful to show signs of improvement sex. It is perfectly safe to conclude that diabetes in this group who were not able to afford the treatment and deprived of the treatment, now can avail a high quality medicine to cure ED symptoms that works just cialis prescription like its branded partner. Perhaps, this is because of the embarrassment they feel while addressing viagra sales australia their problem, making them hesitant. This Black man has no concept of respect but when he feels disrespected he will resort to violence or even murder because his mind has been corrupted and he is emotionally weak. This Black man of today has fallen prey to misinformation of false prophets and false imagery of power and success which he chooses to model himself after. This Black man because of his weaknesses  will gravitate towards guns, drugs and gangs to pursue a life of criminal activity . He will not pursue an education for the mere fact that it is to hard for him and he has convinced himself through irrational thought to rationalize his excuse that it is emulating white people.  He will also tell himself and the teacher he doesn’t want someone telling him what to do  and that the entire process is pointless and of no service to him.

However, he will gladly commit a crime and surrender his life and freedom in exchange for the comfort of  incarceration where he is relegated to a number and has someone monitoring his every move twenty-four (24 ) hours a day. This Black man is housed, clothed and fed and has no responsibilities whatsoever other than to eat, sleep and maybe bathe. This Black man has willingly shackled his mind and handcuffed his future by an act of stupidity and irrationality.  This Black man has now been locked away in an institution which in itself represents another form of imposed subjugation and his life has basically been rendered meaningless. This Black man has capitulated to the white man and evolved into a weak species whose life may just become a complete and utter failure. This Black man has welcomed his role as a modern-day slave and has no qualms about living his life within the confines of these prison walls……. I am unable to  fathom the logic  here, if any…..

The white man knows this which is exactly why he continues to build prisons as it has become a multi-billion dollar business to incarcerate and enslave this Black man……

The true strength of a Black man comes from within, from his knowledge of self,  education, integrity, values, self-respect and from the Black woman who stands beside him and supports him.  A true Black man is a man of unwavering principles, dedication to family and friends, someone who respects himself and by doing so will garner the respect of those around him. A true Black man will lead by positive example and allow his body of work to speak for him. A true Black man will not submit his will and will not allow himself to be placed into a life of subjugation. A true Black man will make responsible decisions and have the ability to recognize his flaws and mistakes and correct them. A true Black man is true to himself and others. To be continued……….
